Feature Release 0.8.9
Organization secrets, port forwarding through a bench, and hot-plug hardware detection.
What's new
- Secrets. Store encrypted secrets for your organization with
mimick secretsor the Secrets page. Runbooks receive them as environment variables. - Port forwarding.
mimick tunnelforwards a local port to any host the bench can reach. - Hot-plug detection. Peripherals appear and disappear as you plug and unplug hardware.
- Clock from the Cloud. A bench sets its clock from MIMICK Cloud when the network blocks time servers.
- Disable users. Turn a user off without deleting them.
- Consistent peripheral commands. Peripheral commands take their data as positional arguments and share one vocabulary.
- Missing, not Absent. The peripheral status pill is simpler, and "Absent" is now "Missing".
- Device access toggle. Turn a runbook's device access on or off in the Edit Runbook dialog.
Bug fixes
- Benches recover from an expired certificate without a restart.
- Unplugged hardware shows as Missing, and unclaimed hardware no longer shows as failed.
- A secret that a runbook uses can't be deleted by mistake.
- A run's session ends when the run finishes.
- Refresh no longer discards an unsaved configuration draft.
